The New Kestrel S 5.7 features a non-parallel linkage and is cable controlled. It is fitted as standard with a heavy duty 1.2m wide Pro-Trim flail head with 115mm diameter roller, which incorporates a double-helix shaft giving a 45% overlap between flails, ensuring a clean neat finish. For heavier growth, the Kestrel 5.7 can also be fitted with the new Pro-Saw cutting head.

The new Kestrel S 5.7 also features power slew/hydraulic break-out system and is fitted to the tractor using a tubular 3-point linkage system with stabilisers. The specification also includes a 160 litre capacity hydraulic oil tank and hydraulic power comed from twin-gear pumps with a flow rate of 84 litres/min. Road lights are fitted as standard and hydraulic oil is included.
