The affordable Bomford Raven is a rear mounted boom mower designed to meet the demands of smaller agricultural, horticultural, landscape & amenity customers, the rugged design ensures year after year reliability whilst keeping a compact design that can be suited from 40 hp tractors and upwards .

The Bomford Raven has a choice of reaches in either 13ft or 15ft reach, and In addition to the familiar cable lever control the Raven can also be fitted with the popular LPH “Low Pressure Hydraulic” Joystick, which give proportional control of the arm and switch control of the head angle and arm float functions.

Arm attachments can include a choice of two flail heads in either 38” or 49” cut for control of grass & light brush or the Raven can also offer a choice of the Sheartrim Cutterbar or Pro-Saw attachments for control of heavier brush.

The Bomford Rotary head is ideal for longer material with a choice of Blade or HD chain cutting options, operating in either vertical plane or horizontal plane.

Its 2.25m sq cutting area makes short work of even the most challenging of tasks

The Bomford Sila-Bed distributes the material for bedding quickly and efficiently leaving a thick aerated bed of straw. Available with 300 degree swivel chute or new side chute option for faster delivery of silage.

The Sila-Bed's reversible conveyor is driven from the hydraulic motor through a chain drive. The blade carrying rotor and paddle turbine are shaft driven by the twin speed gearbox.

The straw is delivered into the rotor blades, cut and fed through the adjustable bale separators which pneumatically separates the strands before powerfully delivering the bedding materials to the required areas.

The robust construction of the Bomford Sila-Bed ensures years of trouble free service whilst the pneumatic design produces maximum capillary action in the straw which results in excellent absorption and therefore longer bedding life.

The Tri-Blade mowers are heavy duty and robust.

Three sets of newly designed heavy duty timed blades ensure strip free cutting, with adjustable cutting height of between 25mm(1") and 225mm (9")  the Bomford Tri-Blade 3000 offers superb versatility.

Driven through 1000 rpm independent gearbox's with rubber pto shaft couplings to offer further protection against debris impact the tri-blade delivers power direct to the blades.

Slip clutch protection on each pto shaft ensures longevity of the independent gearbox's.
