Storth have developed a range of automatic channel scrapers designed to remove all bedding materials and slurry out of the channel in order to keep the channel clear.

The Storth channel scraper is operated by two winches with 9.5mm Pro Rope, attached to the Pro Rope in the channel is the box scraper which collects the slurry. The box scraper is moved in the channel by one winch pulling the pro rope onto the winch drum until the box scraper reaches the end of the channel. The box scraper will then be reversed with the opposite winch pulling the pro rope onto the winch drum until it reaches the start position.

For long channels several box scrapers can be placed in the channel to aid the movement of the volume of slurry.
